This Privacy Policy describes the personal information Prezly collects and processes on behalf of the Company in the framework of the Company site and any related communication.

3. Information the Company collects and how the Company uses it

4. Sharing of personal data

The Company will share abovementioned personal data with Prezly in order to allow Prezly to facilitate the site and the distribution of emails through the site. ​ Prezly merely acts as a data processor for the Company. ​ A data processing agreement has been concluded between Prezly and the Company to cover this data processing activity by Prezly.

Aside from this, the Company does not transfer or share personal data with any third party in the framework of the site. ​

5. International data transfers

Prezly will try to process personal data as much as possible within the EU. ​ In so far as data transfers outside the EU are necessary, Prezly will only transfer data to third countries that offer an appropriate level of data protection, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation. ​ This may include having the data recipient sign a copy of the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

6. Retention of personal data

The Company does not keep personal data any longer than necessary to achieve the intended purpose for which the personal data are collected. ​ In principle, the personal data will be deleted as soon as the data subject has unsubscribed.

Over World Obesity Day Belgium

Wereld Obesitas Dag – 4 maart

De Europese Wereld Obesitas Dag, die elk jaar plaatsvindt op 4 maart, vestigt de aandacht op de groeiende obesitasepidemie in Europa en benadrukt de noodzaak van betere preventie en behandeling.

Personen, zorgverleners en organisaties in heel Europa nemen die dag deel aan evenementen. Dat kan gaan van gratis medische check-ups en advies over gezonde voeding tot virtuele opendeurdagen in ziekenhuizen/behandelcentra en voorlichtings- en opleidingsworkshops voor patiënten/zorgverleners.

De campagne is een initiatief van de European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), Europa's belangrijkste organisatie voor onderzoek naar obesitas, en de European Coalition for People living with Obesity (ECPO).

BASO

The Belgian Association for the Study of Obesity (BASO) maakt deel uit van EASO (European Association for the Study of Obesity) en werd opgericht in 1988 om wetenschappelijk onderzoek rond obesitas in de kijker te plaatsen. In 2002 heeft BASO een eerste rapport gepubliceerd rond de evaluatie en de behandeling van obesitas en overgewicht. Dit rapport is uitgegroeid tot een echte referentie voor huisartsen en specialisten.

BASO wil de interdisciplinaire samenwerking voor de behandeling van obesitas promoten en roept gezondheidsprofessionals en wetenschappers binnen verschillende disciplines op om lid te worden van BASO. BASO wil de communciatie tussen individuen en organisaties vergemakkelijken en moedigt elk initiatief dat de strijd aanbindt met obesitas aan. Voor meer informatie: https://belgium.easo.org/.

 

MOEV

MOEV wil leerlingen in het Vlaams onderwijs aanzetten tot een gezonde mix van bewegen, sporten, zitten en staan door schoolteams te motiveren en te ondersteunen in de ontwikkeling van hun kwaliteitsvol gestructureerd bewegings- en sportbeleid, ingebed in het gezondheidsbeleid.

MOEV is sinds 19 juni 2018 de nieuwe naam van de Stichting Vlaamse Schoolsport SVS, een stichting van openbaar nut, opgericht op 5 april 1984, over de onderwijsnetten heen.

MOEV telt 85 medewerkers verdeeld over 5 provinciale secretariaten en een centraal secretariaat voor Vlaanderen in Brussel.

 

Het Zeepreventorium

Het Zeepreventorium is een medisch pediatrisch revalidatiecentrum voor kinderen en jongeren met diverse chronische aandoeningen, waaronder obesitas. Vanuit een multidisciplinaire samenwerking biedt het centrum zorg op maat van elke patiënt en zijn context. Er wordt bijzondere aandacht besteed aan de medische, functionele, psychosociale en opvoedkundige aspecten. Dit alles gebeurt in nauwe samenwerking met de aanwezige school. Als gespecialiseerd revalidatiecentrum bereikt het kinderen en jongeren uit heel het land, zowel Nederlandstalig als Franstalig. Continuïteit en kwaliteit van zorg vormen hierbij het fundament. De kinderen en jongeren met obesitas krijgen een residentiële behandeling in een uniek kader aan zee.
